MRC RUN the Mill – 5K and Fun Run

McKinney Running Club is sponsoring the third annual Run the Mill 5K and Fun Run at Tupps Brewery in late Fall 2020.

Inspired during a road trip to a small town in northern Oklahoma, a small group from The McKinney Running Club (MRC) wanted to do more for our amazing community. An idea was born to create a scholarship fund. The next logical step for a running club to raise funds would be to put on a race of our own. Drawing on plenty of road race experience, the initial planning committee focused on a lot of details in order to provide the best opportunity for all participants to enjoy every aspect of the event.

Just before our first race, our dear friend Dan Crum lost his battle with cancer. Dan was the first paying member of MRC, and he epitomized the welcoming family atmosphere of the club. Looking to honor his faith, courage, and spirit, it was decided to re-name the scholarship in his honor.

We would love for you to join us for a great day of fellowship, music, food, beer, and running. Our real hope is that you might be inspired to be more like Dan and live every day to the fullest.

5K starts at 8:30am

Where: TUPPS Brewery located in the Historic Cotton Mill in McKinney, TX

After the Race

Directly after the race, join our post party with live music, food, and beer!

Registration includes finisher medals, t-shirts, and Age Group Awards.

100% of raised funds go to The Dan Crum Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund in partnership with the McKinney Education Foundation.
